My name is Barb, and HerKind was born from my own decade-long journey through embedded infections, misdiagnoses, and quiet battles.

This isn’t just a passion project—it’s a reclamation. Of my body. My voice. My purpose.

For most of my life, I battled recurring UTIs.
Round after round of antibiotics—some brought short-term relief, but the pain
always returned.

What I didn’t know then was that the infection hadn’t truly left. It had embedded itself deep in the bladder wall—hidden, chronic, and silently unraveling my body and my peace of mind.

It wasn’t until I began studying functional nutrition and exploring root-cause approaches that I discovered what had been missing all along: a way to support my body as a whole.

Not just the bladder.
Not just the bacteria.
But the gut. The nervous system. The mindset.
And the emotional toll of years spent stuck in survival mode.

I don’t promise quick fixes or miracle cures—because healing doesn’t work like that.
But I do offer a framework—a compassionate, evidence-informed path—that can help you tune into your body, reclaim your voice, and finally feel like you’re not just surviving... but healing.

At HerKind, I don’t offer one-size-fits-all protocols.
I offer support, science, and space to heal.

My work blends functional nutrition, nervous system regulation, and emotional resilience. Because healing doesn’t happen when you’re overwhelmed or terrified. It happens when your body feels safe, your mind feels supported, and your story is finally heard.
